With a manageable workout routine created specifically for you, and personalized guidance to make you a master of healthy eating, Alex Hollenbeck (me!) is on a mission to help you reach your running & health goals without interrupting your current life flow. Personalized run coaching for busy women is my absolute specialty.

I've been there

Weight gain can come out of nowhere, goals can drop by the wayside, and paces can't be kept. Suddenly you are barely able to walk up the stairs without a few fabulous huffs & puffs, and fast food becomes a dietary staple that you develop a serious love/hate relationship with. You are able to ignore all of this though, quite easily, by using the timeless excuse: I'm just too busy. You have competitions with coworkers or classmates about who's life is busier. Your expensive gym membership is basically the equivalent of burning money. You haven't eaten anything green...in a long time. 

With an overabundance of options for training plans and resources, Alex listens intently to your needs and goals to provide a comprehensive, tailor made training plan. Her insight into your abilities and actual potential is something that comes with years of experience, yet it is her natural inclination. Alex was available for weekly check ins to answer questions and modify  training plans as needed--she helped me to PR and she will help you too!

From marathon training to weight loss, I will be with you every step of the way.  Whether you want to learn how to finish a run and be at the bar with a drink in your hand in 30 minutes or less, or need to be able to find a time to run during tax season, we'll find the solution that's right for you.
 
We'll work together to find the right combo of social life/training/work to get you across the finish line, no matter what that line might be. I want you to have your happy hour and drink it too. Being a successful and healthy runner takes commitment, but it doesn't have to take away from the things you love.

I met Alex my freshman year at UConn, and she got me back into my passion of running. I ran in high school and kind of grew out of it, but once I tried UConn Endurance, I was in love with it again. Now I can say I've run 7 half marathons and one full marathon. I don't think I would've ever done any of this without her help. And now I am in love with running!
